As a member of our skilled Data Engineering tech team, which spans expertise in Product Development, Quality Assurance, DevOps, and Data, you'll collaborate within multidisciplinary squads to tackle impactful projects. You will act as the main person responsible for data across the whole business, and together with our CTO, our Head of Engineering, our Product Delivery Manager, and our Junior Data Scientist, you will be responsible for defining and executing a Data Roadmap.

As we are a small team, the role is ideal for someone who wants to own E2E. Together, we will be shaping the future of our products and building solutions that drive real business outcomes. The role can be on-site with our team in London, hybrid or fully remote (+/-2h GMT).

What the Job of a Data Engineer Involves:

  • Getting services running on AWS from scratch: AWS is like your playground, you know which services to use and how to configure them to get things done
  • Building data pipelines: You've created and managed data pipelines, you care about data quality and about being on top of it all
  • Being the go-to person for all company Data: Not only are you aware of the data the company holds, but you're passionate about it, and everyone knows it
  • Getting everyone in the business excited about Data: You're not just the go-to, you're also the one who converted even the least data-driven person to open a set of reports at the start of each day
  • Helping others understand and visualise Data: You feel responsible for proper interpretation of your company data, so you make sure everyone who wants data understands it

Hiring Process:

  • Intro call with our Head of Engineering (15-30 minutes)
  • Online face-to-face technical challenges and brainstorm (60 - 90 minutes)
  • Meet the team and the founders (1 hour)
