Full Stack Software Developer Role:
You’ll take the lead on modernizing our existing infrastructure and enhancing our high-traffic travel pricing system. Although you may occasionally assist with front-end development, your main focus will be back-end engineering, architectural planning, and system integration. Note: Legacy PHP maintenance is minimal, just a few hours per week.
Full Stack Developer Main Responsibilities:
- System Modernization
- Overhaul our outdated systems while keeping legacy PHP support minimal.
- Backend & Full-Stack Development
- Design, build, and manage backend services in C# with PostgreSQL to support a sophisticated travel pricing platform.
- Pitch in on front-end tasks (Node/React) when necessary to support seamless integration.
- Collaborate on Python-based AI tools used for content automation.
- Infrastructure & DevOps
- Leverage your skills in Linux, Docker, and AWS to maintain scalable, reliable systems.
- Contribute to DevOps processes and system reliability.
- Team Collaboration
- Work autonomously to take projects from concept through delivery.
- Participate in peer code reviews to uphold high standards in code quality.
What You Bring
- Backend Proficiency
- Solid experience in backend development (C# and PostgreSQL highly valued) backed by a strong professional track record.
- Deep knowledge of systems integration and architecture.
Full-Stack Flexibility
- Capable of supporting front-end efforts (Node/React), while primarily focusing on backend tasks.
- Experience or interest in Python and AI-driven tools is a plus.
Technical Skills
- Confident using Linux command line, Docker, AWS, and Git.
- Familiarity with modern DevOps practices and tools.
