What you’ll do

You’ll join our core software team, reporting to the Software Engineering Manager. From day one, you’ll be hands-on across the full development lifecycle — from concept to deployment — working on real products that ship globally.

Expect to:

  • Architect, design, and code high-performance embedded solutions
  • Customise Linux builds using the Yocto build system
  • Collaborate with hardware engineers to bring features to life
  • Solve complex problems that demand creativity and precision
  • Contribute to modern, maintainable codebases without technical debt

You should have (Essential)

  • 5+ years in embedded software development (commercial/industrial)
  • Strong Linux embedded skills
  • 2+ years’ Yocto build system experience
  • 2+ years in modern C++ (plus strong C skills)
  • Familiarity with Git and JIRA
  • Bonus points for (Desirable)
  • Bare metal or RTOS development
  • Test-driven development (TDD) experience
  • SPI, I²C, and other hardware interface knowledge
  • Comfort with lab equipment for firmware validation
  • Experience across the entire software lifecycle
