Senior Software engineer to work within a product focused team to design and develop software systems to support our business and our customers. Using the right technologies for the task at hand, engineers are expected to contribute to the whole software development lifecycle and provide ongoing development and support to their product area. Collaboration with colleagues in the product management, operational and compliance teams across the group is essential to deliver value for a rapidly growing business

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Software Engineer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in application development and a strong understanding of cloud technologies. You will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining software applications that meet the needs of our clients. This role requires proficiency in various programming languages and frameworks, as well as a passion for delivering high-quality software solutions.

 Software Engineer Requirements:

• Extensive JavaScript experience for backend processing e.g. TypeScript & NodeJS Experience of front-end frameworks, preferable React
• Cloud based Architecture & deployment experience, preferable GCP Event driven architecture experience
• Microservice and API integration DevOps Experience
• Awareness of defensive coding techniques Experience with Git source control
• Experience with ticket and storyboard tools (Jira, Trello and similar) Experience of agile software lifecycles
• Experience with relational & Non-relational databases, preferably Firestore and MySQL
• Good communication and teamwork skills
• Good problem solving and analytical skills

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: £55,000.00-£75,000.00 per year
