What You’ll Need

• To succeed in this role, you should have hands-on experience with:
• VB.NET (primary language – minimum 3 years preferred)
• ASP.NET Web Forms
• JavaScript & jQuery
• HTML, CSS, Bootstrap (v3 and v5)
• SQL Server – writing complex T-SQL queries, views, and stored procedures
• Crystal Reports – designing and managing reports
• DevOps basics – version control (committing code), basic deployment knowledge

Bonus:

• Experience with C# is highly desirable and will be considered a strong asset.

VB.NET Web Developer Responsibilities

• Maintain and develop new features for our in-house VB.NET web applications
• Collaborate with the team to plan, build, test, and deploy updates
• Work with SQL Server to optimise queries and manage stored procedures
• Assist in transitioning and modernising legacy components where necessary
• Handle bug fixes and provide ongoing support for existing solutions
• Contribute to DevOps workflows and help improve deployment processes
• Generate reports using Crystal Reports and maintain reporting systems

VB.NET Web Developer Requirement Recap

• VB.NET: 3+ years preferred
• ASP.NET Web Forms experience
• Solid front-end skills: JavaScript, jQuery, HTML, CSS, Bootstrap
