What You’ll Need
- To succeed in this role, you should have hands-on experience with:
- VB.NET (primary language – minimum 3 years preferred)
- ASP.NET Web Forms
- JavaScript & jQuery
- HTML, CSS, Bootstrap (v3 and v5)
- SQL Server – writing complex T-SQL queries, views, and stored procedures
- Crystal Reports – designing and managing reports
- DevOps basics – version control (committing code), basic deployment knowledge
Bonus:
- Experience with C# is highly desirable and will be considered a strong asset.
VB.NET Web Developer Responsibilities
- Maintain and develop new features for our in-house VB.NET web applications
- Collaborate with the team to plan, build, test, and deploy updates
- Work with SQL Server to optimise queries and manage stored procedures
- Assist in transitioning and modernising legacy components where necessary
- Handle bug fixes and provide ongoing support for existing solutions
- Contribute to DevOps workflows and help improve deployment processes
- Generate reports using Crystal Reports and maintain reporting systems

VB.NET Web Developer Requirement Recap
