Job Description

We're looking for a UK based fully remote .NET Developer who is passionate about code, who is willing to learn and utilise new technical skills, and who is comfortable working within a flexible environment and team to help direct and deliver products.

The successful candidate will become part of an innovative development team which collaborates closely with staff and customers to produce field-leading software which facilitates the cataloguing and management of mail, which provides a seamless and efficient experience for its users, and which enables robust communication between company and client.

.NET Software Developer Main responsibilities

  • Collaborate with the team to design and implement new features and enhancements
  • Help to tackle the challenges of developing scalable and performant software
  • Contribute to improvements of our software development and deployment processes
  • Working to improve and optimise an established codebase alongside developing new functionality
  • Building integrations with third-party services to deliver greater value for end users

.NET Software Developer Essential Skill Requirments:

  • Experience of C#, VB.Net, MVC, .Net core + Framework
  • Experience of SQL Server
  • Good understanding of design patterns and principles used to create and maintain clean scalable code
  • Knowledge of source control

Desirable:

  • Azure knowledge
  • Understanding of microservices and containerisation
  • Understanding of testing

While this position is fully remote, initial onboarding will take place onsite at our Dorset office. Additionally, our development team meets onsite once each quarter, and we host staff events twice a year, typically held in Poole. The ideal candidate would be located within roughly an hour’s drive of our Dorset office.
