Shopify Developer required to join a leading manufacturer and seller of tailored covers for motor vehicles, caravans, and boats.

UK Custom covers sell to the public and businesses through various online marketplaces throughout the UK and the rest of the world. The company has been running since 2006 and is a vast, growing business.

We are looking to enhance our online presence and expand our digital storefront. We're seeking a talented Shopify Developer to join our team and bring our online stores to the next level. This role offers the opportunity to work with a dynamic team, create custom Shopify solutions, and directly contribute to our business growth.

Shopify Developer Key Responsibilities:

• Develop, customize, and optimize Shopify stores to align with business goals
• Create and modify Shopify themes, ensuring they are responsive and optimized for performance
• Integrate third-party applications and plugins to enhance site functionality
• Collaborate with marketing and design teams to implement creative and functional solutions
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to Shopify stores, from back-end coding issues to front-end UX/UI
• Ensure website performance, security, and scalability
• Stay updated with the latest Shopify features, trends, and best practices

Requirements:

• Proven experience with Shopify development (min. 3 years)
• Strong understanding of Liquid templating language
• Experience with HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, and jQuery
• Familiarity with Shopify APIs and third-party apps
• Experience with version control (Git) and development tools
• Ability to solve technical problems efficiently and creatively
• Strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a team
