PLC Software Engineer (ID: IdHPRNaj)

Are you an Experienced PLC Software Engineer? We are a leading manufacturer of custom-built Electrical Control Panels, Motor Control Centres and Switchboards in the UK and require a PLC software engineer to join our team.

Based near Ware in Hertfordshire, a family-run business with over 50 years of experience in the field. We work predominantly for “blue chip” companies in a variety of industries such as Water, Food, Brewing and Petrochemicals. Currently working under long-term framework agreements for Southern Water, Affinity Water, Northumbrian Water and Essex & Suffolk Water for the supply of Electrical Control Panels, Motor Control Centres, Switchboards and PLC & SCADA Systems.

The position of Software Engineer involves working alongside a team of highly experienced software and electrical engineers. You will be expected to move on to engineer your own projects, liaising directly with clients to service their needs.

Experience in the water industry would be preferable, although not essential.

The ideal candidate will be qualified to ONC/HNC or degree level. Must live within a practical travelling distance from Ware, be fluent in English and eligible to work in the UK and have a valid UK work permit.
