AI Software Engineer – Web Integration (ID: JU2YyCSL)

We are a growing software company with a custom-built web application using the Vue.js framework. Our system is already integrated with AI through Azure’s AI platform, and we’re looking to expand these capabilities. We’re seeking a talented AI Software Engineer who can maintain and enhance our existing AI features and build new intelligent automation into our system.

As our AI Integration Engineer, you’ll work with our development team to manage current AI features, troubleshoot issues, and build new AI-driven automation features. You’ll need to understand both AI models and practical web integration using APIs. Familiarity with Vue.js and Azure AI services is key.

AI Software Engineer, Web Integration - Responsibilities

• Maintain and enhance existing AI-powered features connected via APIs.
• Build and deploy new AI automation based on business needs.
• Integrate AI systems with our Vue.js frontend and backend APIs.
• Collaborate with developers and stakeholders to understand requirements.
• Monitor and optimise the performance of AI services.

Required Skills

• Proficiency in Python (AI/ML libraries like scikit-learn, PyTorch, or TensorFlow).
• Experience with RESTful APIs – building, consuming, and securing them.
• Familiarity with Vue.js applications (you don’t need to be a front-end developer, but need to understand how AI integrates with Vue-based systems).
• Proven experience working with Azure AI (e.g., Azure Cognitive Services, Azure Machine Learning).
• Knowledge of AI/ML concepts: NLP, classification, automation workflows, etc.
• Experience deploying AI models and services (e.g., with Docker, CI/CD pipelines).

Bonus Points

• Experience with alternative AI platforms (OpenAI, Hugging Face, or self-hosted models).
• Experience with cost-efficient AI hosting or local inference setups.
