Penetration Tester (ID: KpvkNZmY)

We are seeking an experienced Penetration Tester to join our growing security team. This role is ideal for a professional with 4–5 years of hands-on experience in penetration testing, who also has strong foundational knowledge of networking and web applications.

Possessing CHECK Team Member (CTM) or CHECK Team Leader (CTL) status will be viewed positively, though it is not a strict requirement.

Penetration Tester Key Responsibilities:

• Plan, execute, and document penetration tests independently.
• Deliver clear and actionable reports for clients.
• Collaborate with clients and internal teams on diverse security engagements.
• Provide mentorship and support to colleagues during testing activities.

What We’re Looking For

Qualifications & Certifications: CHECK Team Member, OSCP, CSTM, CSTL, CREST-CRT, or equivalent certifications are highly desirable.

Penetration Tester Technical Skills:

• Strong grasp of operating systems (Windows, Linux, macOS).
• Proficiency with security tools (e.g., Burp Suite, Nessus).
• Knowledge of web application vulnerabilities, API security, and open standards such as OWASP and MITRE ATT&CK.
• Experience with scripting languages (e.g., Python, Bash, PowerShell).

Soft Skills:

• Excellent time management with the ability to work autonomously.
• Outstanding written communication and report-writing skills.
• Professional, client-focused approach with business awareness.

Other Requirements:

• Willingness to travel for on-site consulting and audits.
• Strong passion for IT security and enthusiasm for technical challenges.

Position: Penetration Tester  -  Job Type: Full Time  -  Salary: £40,000 to £55,000 (dependent on experience and capability)

Location: Hybrid – Leeds LS1 (with remote working options)
