About the Role

We’re on the hunt for a Senior DevOps Engineer to take the lead on our Azure-based infrastructure, CI/CD pipelines, and maintain the reliability of our platform. You'll work closely with our CTO and Lead Architect, taking charge of our cloud environment to make sure it's scalable, secure, and always available.

While some familiarity with C# and JavaScript is a bonus, this is an infrastructure-led role focused on systems reliability, automation, and cloud architecture.

Senior DevOps Engineer (Azure) Key Responsibilities:

• Take full ownership of our Azure infrastructure, including Web Apps, SQL databases, and Azure Functions
• Manage and enhance CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps
• Maintain and evolve our infrastructure-as-code practices with Terraform
• Implement and monitor systems to ensure performance, availability, and fault tolerance
• Conduct regular audits to tighten cloud security and ensure compliance
• Plan and execute upgrades, failover strategies, and performance tuning
• Provide occasional development support as needed (C#, JavaScript)
• Participate in our on-call support rota once fully onboarded

Who We’re Looking For

• 4+ years in a DevOps or cloud engineering role, with strong Azure experience
• Solid understanding of cloud security, high availability, and disaster recovery planning
• Experience managing CI/CD processes and infrastructure automation
• Proficiency in Terraform and infrastructure-as-code methodologies
• Comfortable handling incidents, monitoring systems, and conducting root cause analysis
• Bonus: Experience contributing to development with C# or JavaScript
• Self-starter with a proactive attitude and ownership mindset
