Job Description

An AI-powered Marketing Cloud that helps marketers acquire, grow, and retain customers more efficiently. We leverage advanced artificial intelligence (AI) and trillions of consumer signals to simplify sophisticated marketing.

Our Marketing Platform (ZMP) unifies identity, intelligence, and omnichannel activation into one platform—powered by one of the industry’s largest proprietary databases and AI engines. Enterprise customers across industries use ZMP to deliver personalized, 1:1 consumer experiences across every channel—driving stronger results for their marketing programs.

About the Team:

We’re a small, business-savvy group of technologists who treat machine learning as a tool, not an end goal. Our mission: identify revenue-shaping opportunities, ship the first working solution in days or weeks, learn from the market, then double down—or pivot—fast.

We value curiosity over ego and believe that “good enough now” often beats “perfect but late.”

What You’ll Do:

  • Frame & focus: Translate fuzzy growth ideas into clear problems, define the right metrics, and design fast experiments to learn quickly.
  • Build fast, in or out of the box: Fine-tune a foundation model when it gets us 80% there; build from scratch only when necessary.
  • Own the full lifecycle: Prototype in notebooks, deploy via Python APIs or microservices, and handle offline scoring, real-time inference, and monitoring.
  • Make it self-serve: Wrap models in simple endpoints, SDKs, or SQL functions so teammates can access them without roadblocks.
  • Instrument & iterate: Track drift, cost, and business impact; retrain or retire based on evidence.
  • Teach the village: Share demos, snippets, and best practices so pragmatic ML solutions stick.

Preferred Experience: (Nice to Have)

  • End-to-end ML product ownership—from prototype to cloud-native service
  • Strong Python skills with libraries like scikit-learn, PyTorch, TensorFlow, XGBoost, LightGBM
  • Experience selecting and fine-tuning foundation/LLM or diffusion models when they’re the fastest path to value
  • Familiarity with feature stores, vector databases, and MLOps stacks (Airflow/Prefect, MLflow, Kubeflow, SageMaker, Vertex, or equivalents)
  • Comfort with batch and low-latency serving patterns (REST, gRPC, or streaming)
  • SQL skills for wrangling messy data and interpreting A/B results
  • Solid grounding in statistics and experimental design, plus the storytelling ability to explain results to non-technical partners
  • Experience with version control, CI/CD, and shipping thin vertical slices over monolithic builds

You’ll Thrive Here If You…

  • Value impact over model elegance—choosing the simplest approach that moves KPIs
  • Prototype loudly—preferring working demos over 40-page decks
  • Stay humble—if a spreadsheet baseline wins, you celebrate and raise the bar
  • Can translate seamlessly—switching from GPU kernels to revenue funnels with ease
  • Love ambiguity—seeing blank whiteboards as opportunities, not roadblocks

Why Join Our Data Cloud Acceleration Team

  • Velocity: Your models meet customers in weeks, not quarters
  • Tool freedom: Use the right stack for the problem—no endless procurement delays
  • Breadth: Projects range from ad-tech optimization to identity resolution to GenAI personalization
  • Colleagues who get it: Smart, low-ego teammates focused on measurable business results
  • Global flexibility: Work where you thrive—our culture is built for distributed teams

People & Culture:

We are committed to diversity, equity, and inclusion. We welcome applicants from all backgrounds and do not discriminate based on race, gender, age, disability, veteran status, religion, sexual orientation, gender identity, or expression.
