Our Platform & Team

We’re a modern finance company with a proprietary web-based platform built in-house to manage lending operations. The platform is developed using:

• Backend: .NET (C#)
• Frontend: React + TypeScript, Material UI
• Infrastructure: Hosted on AWS
• Other Tools: GraphQL, GitLab CI/CD, DataDog

As we transition from a fully offshore model to a hybrid setup, we’re building a small, senior UK-based team to take ownership of delivery, technical direction, and quality.

We operate in a regulated space where data integrity, security, and auditability are essential; we keep processes lightweight and delivery-focused.

What the Senior React Developer will be doing

• Building responsive, accessible UIs with React and Material UI
• Developing reusable components and maintaining design consistency
• Integrating with GraphQL APIs for efficient data management
• Ensuring cross-browser compatibility and accessibility standards
• Writing clean, well-tested code and taking part in code reviews
• Collaborating with backend engineers and offshore teams
• Maintaining and modernising existing interfaces
• Ensuring work meets compliance, documentation, and security standards

Senior React Developer is a frontend-focused role, but if you're keen to go full-stack, there's room to grow.

Our Tech Stack

• Frontend: React, TypeScript, Material UI
• API: GraphQL (some REST)
• Tooling: GitLab, Jira, Confluence, DataDog
• Backend (maintained by others): .NET (C#)

What We’re Looking For

• Strong experience building production-grade React applications
• Proficient with TypeScript and modern JavaScript best practices
• Experience using Material UI or similar component libraries
• Skilled in GraphQL or REST API integration
• Understanding of component-based architecture and state management
• Comfortable working in a remote-first environment
• Effective communicator, particularly with distributed teams
• Familiar with Git workflows and CI/CD processes
• Knowledge of web accessibility and security best practices
• Experience with frontend testing and performance monitoring

Bonus: Background in finance or working with complex data-driven UIs
