We’re looking for a frontend developer (React / Next.js) who’s eager to grow their career and make a real impact. You’ll work from our Kensington office alongside our tech team, helping to build and evolve our energy procurement platform. The platform enables clients to manage their energy usage, track contracts, and explore their data and global footprint through intuitive, data-driven dashboards.
You’ll contribute across a range of projects, from our customer-facing portal to internal tools used by sales, marketing, and account management. This role offers hands-on experience with complex data visualisation while strengthening your frontend fundamentals in a collaborative, supportive environment.
What you’ll be doing
- Building and maintaining frontend features using React (ideally Next.js) and TypeScript
- Working closely with designers, product, and backend engineers to deliver polished, user-focused interfaces
- Implementing dashboards and data visualisations that are clear, performant, and intuitive
- Integrating with APIs and handling structured data (JSON, XML, etc.)
- Contributing to internal tools that are used company-wide
Must-haves
- Familiarity with AI-assisted development tools (e.g. Cursor, Windsurf, Codex, Claude Code) and spec-driven development
- Experience with React (preferably Next.js) and TypeScript, including delivering production web applications
- Comfort using Git and collaborating with other developers
- Experience working with APIs and structured data formats
- A solid understanding of frontend best practices, especially UX and dashboard design
- Experience working with a database ORM (Prisma, Drizzle, or similar)
Bonus points for
- Hands-on experience with databases and data modelling
- Using Postman or similar tools for API testing
- Frontend testing with Vitest and/or Cypress
- Knowledge of SWR, caching strategies, optimistic updates, and efficient data fetching
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines (GitHub Actions, GitLab Runners, Jenkins)
What we’re looking for
- A GitHub profile or portfolio demonstrating work with Next.js, TypeScript, and dashboard or web applications
- Experience building at least one full-stack application (frontend and backend)
- Strong attention to design detail and a genuine enthusiasm for creating high-quality user experiences
