Backend Developer (ID: Y1tbv4Xj)

We’re an early-stage UK fintech building solutions that tackle the biggest data challenges in the wealth management industry. We’re looking for an experienced, data-focused backend developer to help accelerate our product development, integrations, and APIs.

This is a chance to shape not just a product, but an entire ecosystem of microservices from the ground up.

We are looking for someone who is:

• Passionate about data, technology, and efficiency
• Based in the UK (role is fully remote)
• Experienced with Laravel / PHP (Laravel 10.x / PHP 8.1+) and MySQL
• Highly proficient with APIs, data transformations, and complex calculations
• Strong in data optimisation, including:
• ETL system development
• API development and integrations
• Data analytics
• Comfortable with TDD (phpunit / pest)
• Knowledgeable in SOLID design principles
• Experienced with cloud infrastructure (AWS preferred)
• A great communicator who thrives in cross-functional collaboration
• A fast mover who loves to test, learn, iterate, and stay curious

Nice to Have

• Experience in early-stage companies, startups, or fast-paced tech environments
• Prior experience in fintech or wealth management
• Familiarity with Snowflake

You should have 5+ years of PHP experience and ideally 2+ years working with Laravel, and enjoy building new integrations from scratch.
