AI Agent & Full Stack Developer (AI/ML): Are you passionate about building intelligent AI agents and creating exceptional user experiences? Do you have experience in AI/ML, conversational AI, web application development, and modern user interfaces? If so, we'd love to hear from you.

Experience working within the UK energy sector, particularly with National Grid or related organisations, is highly desirable.

Full Stack Developer Key Responsibilities:

  • Design, develop, and optimise AI agents and conversational AI solutions across multiple platforms.
  • Build and maintain modern web portals and dashboards for monitoring, managing, and analysing AI interactions.
  • Develop intuitive, responsive, and accessible chatbot user interfaces.
  • Implement secure authentication and authorisation using industry-standard protocols such as OAuth, JWT, and SAML.
  • Design and develop RESTful APIs to integrate with internal systems and third-party services.
  • Collaborate with UI/UX designers, backend developers, AI engineers, and data scientists to deliver high-quality solutions.
  • Test, troubleshoot, and continuously improve AI applications to ensure performance, scalability, and reliability.
  • Integrate legal and compliance capabilities using OpenCLaw (or equivalent legal AI technologies) where applicable.
  • Stay up to date with emerging AI technologies, frameworks, and industry best practices.

Required Skills & Experience:

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Artificial Intelligence, or a related discipline.
  • Proven experience developing AI agents, chatbots, or conversational AI applications.
  • Strong programming skills with modern web technologies including HTML, CSS, JavaScript/TypeScript, React, Angular, or similar frameworks.
  • Experience with backend technologies such as Node.js, Python (Django or Flask), or equivalent frameworks.
  • Experience integrating Large Language Models (LLMs) using platforms such as OpenAI, Anthropic, Azure OpenAI, or similar.
  • Solid understanding of REST APIs and microservices architecture.
  • Experience implementing secure authentication and authorisation (OAuth 2.0, JWT, SAML).
  • Familiarity with cloud platforms such as AWS, Microsoft Azure, or Google Cloud Platform.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
  • Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a collaborative team.

Desirable Skills:

  • Experience working with National Grid or within the UK energy sector.
  • Knowledge of reinforcement learning and AI decision-making systems.
  • Experience with Natural Language Processing (NLP) frameworks such as Rasa, Dialogflow, LangChain, or similar technologies.
  • Experience with voice AI and speech recognition technologies.
  • Understanding of responsible AI, AI governance, and data privacy regulations.
  • Experience with SQL and NoSQL databases.
  • Familiarity with Docker, Kubernetes, and containerised deployments.
  • Experience with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices.
  • Knowledge of vector databases, Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG), and AI orchestration frameworks is an advantage.
