This is a product-focused analytics role that goes beyond reporting. You’ll analyse product performance, user behaviour, and marketing data to generate insights that influence product development, growth strategy, and commercial outcomes. You’ll operate at the intersection of product, marketing, and data, ensuring decisions are driven by evidence, not assumptions. A key part of the role will involve contributing to a major data migration project into Snowflake, making hands-on experience essential.
Key Responsibilities:
- Analyse user behaviour and product performance across platforms
- Identify trends, opportunities, and areas for product improvement
- Partner with the Product Manager to inform roadmap decisions
Data Exploration:
- Interrogate large datasets to uncover insights on growth, conversion, and engagement
- Detect anomalies, performance drivers, and opportunities
- Query and explore data within Snowflake
Reporting & Dashboards:
Build and maintain dashboards tracking key business and product metrics
Translate complex data into clear, actionable insights
Data Migration & Infrastructure:
- Support the migration of internal product data into Snowflake
- Collaborate with engineering and data teams to ensure data quality and accessibility
- Help define best practices for data structure and querying
Experimentation & Growth:
- Support A/B testing and experimentation initiatives
- Measure the impact of product changes and new features
Cross-Team Collaboration:
- Work closely with product, marketing, and engineering teams
- Ensure accurate tracking and meaningful use of data across the business
Experience Requirements:
- Minimum 4 years in a Data Analyst role
- Snowflake experience: Minimum 3 years (required)
- Background in product, digital, or performance marketing data
- Experience in fast-paced, evolving environments
- Exposure to digital marketing, lead generation, or tech products
- Familiarity with product analytics tools (e.g. Mixpanel, Amplitude, GA4)
- Understanding of A/B testing or experimentation frameworks
Technical Skill Requirements:
- Strong SQL skills
- Proven hands-on experience with Snowflake (essential)
- Experience with BI tools (Looker, Power BI, Tableau, Metabase, or similar)
- Advanced Excel or Google Sheets
- Comfortable working with large datasets
