We are the world’s largest Muslim dating and marriage app. With over 15 million members and more than 600,000 couples married, we’re on a mission to become the first $1bn Muslim tech brand—and we’d love you to be part of that journey.

What You’ll Do

  • Join a high-impact data science team focused on driving growth and optimising products as we expand globally
  • Analyse user behaviour to generate actionable insights that inform both product and marketing decisions
  • Work closely with Product, Engineering, Marketing, and User Acquisition teams
  • Take a proactive, product-first approach to innovation and experimentation
  • Develop and maintain production ML models powering personalisation and recommendations
  • Explore new optimisation ideas and build MVPs to validate impact
  • Solve high-impact, complex challenges using data across product and marketing
  • Partner with Data Analysts and Data Engineers to clean, transform, and build scalable datasets

What You’ll Bring

  • 5+ years’ experience as a Data Scientist, Applied Scientist, or in a highly analytical, product-focused role
  • Strong proficiency in Python and SQL
  • Experience working in production environments (e.g. version control, virtual environments)
  • Solid grounding in statistical methods and experimentation
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to present insights to non-technical stakeholders
  • Strong commercial mindset, using customer insights to optimise marketing and product performance
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities in a fast-paced environment
  • Collaborative approach to working across cross-functional teams
  • Passion for tackling complex, ambiguous data problems
  • Hands-on experience designing and analysing A/B experiments

Nice to Have

  • Experience building or improving recommendation systems
  • Familiarity with MLOps tools and best practices
  • Experience working on consumer, mobile-first products

Why Join Us?

We’re a profitable consumer tech startup, backed by Y Combinator (S17) and based in London. You’ll work on a meaningful product that’s changing lives, alongside a fast-growing, ambitious team.

  • Rapid career growth working with talented, generous teammates
  • A diverse, inclusive team with perspectives from all walks of life
