Join Our Fast-Growing UK Fintech Startup!  We’re an early-stage UK-based fintech company focused on solving complex data challenges in the wealth management industry. We’re looking for an experienced backend developer with a passion for data and tech to help supercharge our product, integrations, and APIs.

This is a unique opportunity to shape an entire ecosystem of microservices from the ground up.

We're Looking For a Backend Developer who is:

• Passionate about data, tech, and efficiency
• UK-based (remote role)
• Proven experience with Laravel/PHP (10.x/8.1+) and MySQL
• Expertise in APIs, data transformations, and calculations
• Strong background in data optimisation, including:
• ETL System Development (Extract, Transform, Load)
• API development and integrations
• Data analytics
• TDD (PHPUnit/Pest)
• Solid understanding of SOLID design principles
• Experience with Cloud Infrastructure (AWS preferred)
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills
• A fast mover who’s not afraid to test, learn, and iterate (agility and curiosity are key!)

Nice to Have:

• Experience in smaller companies or fast-paced tech environments
• Previous work in FinTech or Wealth Management
• Familiarity with Snowflake
• 5+ years of experience with PHP, ideally 2+ years with Laravel
