Java Developer (ID: nzevC7K1)

• You will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining high-quality Java applications using modern frameworks such as Spring, Spring Boot, and RESTful services. You will bring strong hands-on experience in Object-Oriented Design (OOD) and confidently apply design patterns to create scalable, maintainable solutions.
• Must have proven experience in building, testing, and deploying applications, with a strong emphasis on quality and reliability. Proficiency in unit testing using JUnit is essential to ensure robust code delivery.
• A solid understanding of JPA and Hibernate is required, along with strong experience working with relational database management systems—ideally MySQL—and writing complex SQL queries.
• Experienced in multithreading and concurrency, developing high-performance systems capable of handling demanding workloads. A strong understanding of secure development practices is also essential, including experience with SSL and certificate-based communications.
• Able to work with build tools such as Gradle and collaborate using Git within agile development teams.

In addition to development, you will contribute to system enhancements, troubleshoot issues, and support production environments as needed. Experience working in fast-paced, high-pressure environments with iterative release cycles is highly desirable.

Exposure to Linux, AWS, and Kubernetes is advantageous. Familiarity with technologies such as Kafka, Hazelcast, Elasticsearch, Kibana, JSON, and YAML will also support success in this role.

Previous experience in banking or financial services—particularly in payments systems, is highly desirable. Knowledge of ISO 8583 messaging, jPOS, and Postbridge would be a strong advantage.

You will also be expected to support second-line production queries when required and perform effectively under tight delivery timelines.
