Job Description

We’re looking for a talented AWS Developer with 1–2 years of commercial experience to join our growing development team in Newcastle upon Tyne. You’ll be working on cutting-edge projects in the education sector, helping to build robust integrations and intuitive front-end solutions that deliver outstanding user experiences.

This role is perfect for someone who is passionate about cloud technologies, confident working across the stack, and eager to make an impact in a fast-growing, collaborative environment.

What You’ll Do

  • Develop and maintain applications using AWS services and modern web technologies.
  • Build scalable, reliable integrations across multiple platforms.
  • Support front-end development with JavaScript, HTML/CSS, and frameworks such as React or Vue.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to gather requirements and deliver solutions.
  • Optimise performance for speed, scalability, and user experience.
  • Maintain best practices in testing, documentation, and version control.

What You’ll Bring

  • 1–2 years’ commercial experience working with AWS.
  • Strong skills in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and at least one modern front-end framework (React, Vue, Angular).
  • Understanding of responsive design and cross-browser compatibility.
  • Experience with Git or other version control systems.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Excellent teamwork and communication abilities.

Desirable:

  • Experience building and consuming RESTful APIs.
  • Industry knowledge of education or fintech solutions.
