Talented Software Engineer wanted to join our team in the UK. You will play a key role in developing software applications that improve operational efficiency and elevate the customer experience, supporting our mission of providing world-class bathroom solutions.
Software Developer Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and maintain internal web-based software tools.
- Build solutions using PHP, jQuery, MySQL, and MSSQL.
- Integrate systems with Kerridge K8 and other ERP/MRP platforms.
- Lead the redevelopment of company websites, bringing projects in-house.
- Support general IT operations, including occasional first-line support.
- Collaborate with departments to understand business processes and identify areas for automation.
- Maintain best practices in coding, testing, and documentation.
Skills & Experience
- Strong proficiency in PHP and jQuery.
- Solid knowledge of MySQL and Microsoft SQL Server (MSSQL).
- Experience integrating with Kerridge K8 or similar ERP/MRP systems.
- Familiarity with website development and CMS platforms.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.
- Strong general IT skills with a willingness to assist with support tasks.
- Knowledge of version control systems (e.g., Git).
- Experience in manufacturing, distribution, or logistics environments (preferred but not essential).
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to work effectively across teams, suppliers, and customers.
- A proactive team player with a professional, positive, and self-motivated approach.
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to multitask effectively.
