We’re working with Good With, an award-winning, early-stage Fintech4Good startup, on a mission to make affordable credit accessible and fair for all. By combining behavioural science, psychology, and advanced data science, they’re redefining how people understand and manage their financial health—empowering users with their own data in a transparent, ethical, and human-centric way.
They’re now looking for a Full Stack Data Scientist who’s passionate about applying data science for social good and wants to play a key role in building cutting-edge solutions at the intersection of tech, finance, and behavioural science.
What You’ll Be Doing
In this hands-on, high-impact role, you’ll sit at the heart of a cross-functional, agile team, using your data skills to develop innovative credit risk models and behavioural insights tools. You’ll work with a variety of data types—from psychometrics to Open Banking—applying modern machine learning, statistical modelling, and data engineering techniques.
Key responsibilities include:
- Designing features and models using a behaviour-first approach
- Conducting exploratory data analysis across diverse datasets
- Building and deploying ML models for credit scoring and behavioural risk
- Developing scalable data pipelines (batch + real-time)
- Implementing model monitoring (accuracy, drift, latency)
- Collaborating with a forward-thinking team on everything from hypothesis testing to journal clubs
- Staying current with the latest research, tools, and industry developments
What You’ll Bring
We’re looking for someone with:
- 2+ years in a Data Science or related role
- Strong experience in Python and SQL
- A solid grasp of machine learning, statistics, and causal inference
- Familiarity with model deployment, monitoring, and automation
- Interest in behavioural science, psychology, or economics
- Clear, confident communication skills across technical and non-technical audiences
Bonus points for:
- Experience with credit risk analysis or fintech
- Exposure to GCP, AWS, or modern MLOps tools
- Academic publications or open-source contributions
