As a Data Analyst, your expertise in data mining, analysis, and visualisation will be critical in uncovering insights and trends, enabling strategic decision-making and enhancing overall business efficiency. You will play a pivotal role in KPI reporting, ensuring high data accuracy, enhancing Pricing Management strategies, and optimising import/export processes to and from ERP and other systems. The successful candidate will be reporting to the IT Manager.
Responsibilities:
- Data Accuracy Auditing: Perform regular audits to ensure data accuracy and reliability, maintaining high-quality standards for decision-making processes.
- Extracting Strategic Insights: Utilise advanced data mining techniques to extract valuable insights from databases, driving strategic decision-making processes.
- Business Intelligence Management: Handle Business Intelligence tasks efficiently, ensuring smooth data export/import processes and maintaining data integrity across systems.
- Reporting and Analysis: Generate comprehensive reports and conduct thorough data analysis for all departments, providing actionable insights to stakeholders.
- Establishing KPIs: Collaborate with internal stakeholders to establish and agree Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) for progress tracking, enabling continuous improvement initiatives and raising efficiency.
- Empowering Departments: Utilise your data management expertise to empower departments across the organisation, facilitating data-driven decision-making processes.
- Driving Growth: Drive business growth by providing valuable insights and facilitating informed decisions aligned with organisational goals and objectives.
Data Analyst Requirements:
- Min 5 years Solid hands-on proven experience as a Data Analyst role, with expertise in data mining, analysis, and visualisation techniques.
- Proficiency in tools such as SQL, SSRS, Microsoft Report Builder, SharePoint, and data visualisation platforms (e.g., Phocas, Power BI).
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to translate complex data into actionable insights.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams.
- Attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining data integrity and accuracy.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities effectively.

If successful, we offer:
- A competitive salary of £45,000 - £55,000 (DOE) per annum
- Working hours Monday to Friday 8 am-5 pm
