Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Lead React Web Developer to oversee and drive our web development portfolio. In this role, you will design, build, and maintain responsive web applications that manage complex geospatial data for asset management. You will also provide technical leadership, ensuring the delivery of high-quality, scalable solutions.

Lead React Web Developer Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain responsive single-page applications using React and TypeScript
  • Lead the development of web frameworks and mentor junior developers
  • Build interactive mapping interfaces and geospatial visualisation tools
  • Integrate APIs and web services with secure authentication and authorisation
  • Monitor and optimise application performance
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver features and enhance user experience

Essential Requirements:

  • Minimum 3 years’ experience in web application development
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or equivalent
  • Strong proficiency in HTML5, CSS, JavaScript, React, and TypeScript
  • Experience with RESTful APIs, GraphQL, and authentication methods (e.g. JWT)
  • Familiarity with Git and CI/CD pipelines
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail

React Web Developer Desirable Skills:

  • Experience with GIS technologies, geoJSON, or ArcGIS API for JavaScript
  • Knowledge of spatial data handling and analysis
  • Familiarity with Figma, Unreal Engine (UE5), 3D modelling, or Power BI/Tableau
  • Understanding of relational databases, SQL optimisation, and lifecycle cost analysis
