We are seeking a Senior Full Stack Engineer to join our dynamic, fast-growing team as we build a greenfield software platform from the ground up. You’ll play a critical role in shaping the core technology behind a healthcare solution that’s transforming access to medical cannabis care in the UK and beyond.

This is an opportunity to work with a modern stack—TypeScript, React, NestJS, PostgreSQL (RDS), and AWS Lambda, and to influence the design and development of scalable, mission-driven systems from day one.

What You’ll Do

As a Full Stack Engineer, you’ll collaborate with product managers, clinicians, and fellow engineers to build secure, scalable, and user-friendly systems. You’ll be responsible for:

• Designing and developing full-stack applications using React on the frontend and NestJS on the backend.
• Building and maintaining RESTful APIs that serve high-availability applications.
• Creating intuitive, accessible user interfaces that improve the clinical and patient experience.
• Managing and optimising our AWS infrastructure (Lambda, RDS, SQS, etc.) with an eye toward scalability, performance, and cost-efficiency.
• Ensuring code quality through automated testing, code reviews, and modern CI/CD practices.
• Playing a leading role in architecture discussions, technical planning, and mentoring junior developers.
• Working with SQL databases and contributing to thoughtful data architecture.

What We’re Looking For

We’re looking for a talented and experienced Full Stack Engineer who’s passionate about building products that matter. The ideal candidate will have:

• 5+ years of professional software engineering experience, with at least 3 years working across both frontend and backend systems.
• Strong expertise in TypeScript and Node.js, with hands-on experience in React and NestJS (or similar frameworks).
• A solid understanding of SQL and relational databases, especially PostgreSQL.
• Experience with AWS services such as Lambda, RDS, S3, and SQS.
• A proactive, problem-solving mindset and a collaborative attitude.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to work cross-functionally.

UK residency:  You must be based in the United Kingdom to be considered for this role.
