Graduate eCommerce Web Developer PHP | LAMP | Hybrid Working. A motivated and enthusiastic Graduate eCommerce Web Developer is required to join our growing in-house development team. We invest heavily in developing the next generation of talent and looking for curious, driven problem-solvers who are excited about AI-powered development and ready to make an impact.

What You’ll Do:

As a Graduate eCommerce Web Developer, you will:

  • Play a key role in designing and building robust, scalable eCommerce applications
  • Contribute across the full development lifecycle — from planning and development to testing and deployment
  • Work on real-world projects, fixing bugs and developing new features using both traditional and AI-assisted approaches
  • Leverage modern AI tools such as GitHub Copilot, Claude Code, and other emerging technologies to enhance productivity
  • Experiment with new AI tools and share insights during hackathons and team learning sessions
  • Receive mentorship from experienced developers, gaining strong coding fundamentals alongside AI integration skills

We’re looking for someone who:

  • Has a genuine passion for technology, web development, and eCommerce
  • Is confident working in a Linux environment using command line tools
  • Has a solid foundation in object-oriented programming
  • Is proficient in at least one OO language (PHP, Java, C#, or similar)
  • Is a recent graduate (or graduating this year) in a relevant IT-related degree
  • Has strong analytical thinking and problem-solving skills
  • Has hands-on experience with AI coding tools (e.g. GitHub Copilot, Claude, Gemini, Cursor)
  • Understands when and how to effectively use AI vs traditional coding
  • Can write effective prompts and critically assess AI-generated code
  • Has integrated AI tools into their workflow beyond basic usage
  • Is comfortable working independently and collaboratively
  • Is familiar with Git and has some exposure to eCommerce platforms
  • Is proactive, organised, and able to manage time effectively in a hybrid environment
  • Is curious, adaptable, and eager to explore emerging technologies
