Mid Level Web Developer (ID: Eg93CDF2)

Experienced Mid Level Front End Developer who combines strong technical expertise with commercial awareness.

You’ll build bespoke platforms from scratch, influence architectural decisions and help evolve our technical standards. Beyond development, you’ll work closely with the Marketing Director to scope projects, define technical requirements and contribute to accurate pricing.

This is a hands-on role with strategic input. You’ll take ownership of projects from discovery through to launch and optimisation.

Web Developer Key Responsibilities:

• Lead the development of bespoke websites using Craft CMS, HTML, CSS and modern JavaScript
• Translate Figma designs into clean, accessible, high-performance front-end builds
• Architect scalable content models and reusable component systems
• Explore and implement modern approaches such as headless CMS and API-driven builds
• Work within structured Git workflows across multiple active projects
• Improve build processes and deployment pipelines
• Collaborate with the Marketing Director on scoping, pricing and timelines
• Advise on technical feasibility during sales discussions
• Accurately estimate development time and proactively identify risks
• Build high-converting PPC landing pages with performance and tracking in mind
• Oversee launches and ensure thorough technical QA
• Support database structuring, imports and migrations
• Implement technical SEO improvements and optimise Core Web Vitals
• Manage staging and production environments
• Assist with infrastructure, DNS and domain configuration where required
• Research and introduce new technologies to improve development standards

What We’re Looking For:

• Strong fundamentals in HTML, CSS and modern JavaScript
• Commercial awareness and confidence discussing scope and budgets
• Experience with Craft CMS (preferred)
• Comfortable working with Git and structured development workflows
• Proven ability to build responsive layouts without page builders
• Strong understanding of performance optimisation, accessibility and technical SEO
• Ability to estimate projects realistically and manage delivery
• A systems-oriented problem solver who enjoys improving processes
• Clear communication skills and confidence working with internal stakeholders
• Pride in writing clean, maintainable and scalable code

Nice to Have:

• Experience with modern frameworks such as React or Vue
• Experience with headless CMS architecture
• Familiarity with AWS services such as EC2, S3 or SES
• Previous agency experience
