This is a great opportunity for an enthusiastic and creative Web Developer to join a close-knit team of developers working on a range of exciting projects. In this role, you will be responsible for creating and maintaining a range of websites and you will be comfortable devising creative solutions.
Required Skills:
- In-depth understanding of both WordPress & WooCommerce, including theme and plugin development.
- Familiarity with WordPress hooks, actions, and filters
- Strong proficiency with PHP.
- Excellent skills in HTML, CSS and JavaScript, including jQuery.
- Strong knowledge of database systems, including MySQL.
- Experience with building and consuming REST APIs.
- Working knowledge of version control tools.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and a keen attention to detail.
- Appreciation for website performance and security.
- Ability to work both independently and within a team.
Desirable:
- Any experience with Node, React, Next.js, or other JavaScript frameworks.
- Technical SEO understanding.
- Familiarity with cloud services such as AWS.
