Shopify Web Developer Key Responsibilities:
- Shopify Website Development & Management: Lead the creation, development, and ongoing management of multiple Shopify-based websites, ensuring each site is user-friendly, responsive, and optimised for e-commerce success.
- Website Optimisation: Suggest and implement improvements to enhance site functionality, sales performance, and user engagement across our portfolio of B2B and D2C websites.
- Web Technologies: Utilise your proficiency in Shopify, WordPress, Magento, and other CMS systems to create seamless, engaging digital experiences.
- Custom Coding: Work with Sparklayer and custom code to improve current website functionality and create bespoke solutions to meet business needs.
- Creative Design Tools: Demonstrate expertise in Adobe Creative Suite, including Photoshop, Canva, and other tools to enhance site design and branding.
- SEO & Google Ads: Implement SEO strategies and Google Ads campaigns to improve organic rankings, website traffic, and conversions.
- CRM & Digital Marketing Tools: Leverage CRM tools like Dot Digital to create personalised customer journeys and improve email marketing efforts.
- Content Management: Oversee content across multiple websites, ensuring brand consistency and adhering to specific guidelines for each brand.
- Customer Journey Optimisation: Analyse and improve navigation and customer journey on all websites to maximise conversions and user satisfaction.
- Digital Analytics & Reporting: Extract and present reports on digital marketing activity, SEO performance, and site analytics to track progress and guide future strategy.
- Cross-Team Collaboration: Work closely with the marketing, web, and design teams to align strategies and enhance our digital presence.
- Industry Insights: Stay ahead of market trends in the skincare, beauty, and wellbeing sectors to drive innovative ideas and campaigns.
About You:
- You are an innovative and results-driven Shopify Developer with a strong foundation in e-commerce web development. You have a keen eye for detail and an understanding of how to optimise websites for both user experience and sales performance. You are comfortable working across multiple brands and sites, ensuring that each is perfectly tailored to its target audience.
- Proven Experience: Highly experienced in Shopify web development and managing multiple e-commerce websites.
- Creative Vision: Able to think creatively and suggest new ideas for improving user experience, sales, and website functionality.
- Technical Expertise: Experience with custom code, Sparklayer, and working in various CMS systems like Magento and WordPress.
- SEO & Digital Marketing Knowledge: Strong understanding of SEO, Google Ads, and online marketing best practices.
- Design Tools: Proficient in design tools like Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Canva, etc.) to create engaging visual content for websites.
