We’re looking for an inquisitive, quality-focused Junior Insights Developer to join our growing team, based in our offices in Truro.
Qualified candidates may come from various professional backgrounds with experience working with data, such as data entry, data visualisation, or data analysis via Excel, for instance, with a view to develop into an Insights Developer.

What you’ll make happen:
- Maintaining and updating existing reports to support the business to understand its performance.
- Management and maintenance of our live dashboards to provide timely performance metrics.
- Triaging Insights-related Service Desk requests to promote prompt communication and resolution to any requests.
- Supporting understanding of requirements for new data related requests and questions.
- Auditing of existing reports to monitor usage and to check data accuracy
- Ownership of manual Insights-related tasks, enabling the other Insights team members and preventing single points of failure.
- Proactive communication with the business on relevant changes to data to ensure data engagement.
- Upskilling in key technical areas such as Excel, SQL, PowerBI, and ZenDesk.
Who we’re looking for:
Essential:
- Experience in working with data in some capacity, such as data entry, data visualisation, or data analysis.
- Attention to detail to make sure data quality is at the forefront of everything that they do.
- Desire to progress within the role and wider company, while learning technical skills such as writing SQL and DAX.
- Confidence to communicate with a wide variety of stakeholders at all levels of the business.
- Initiative to effectively prioritise and manage workload.
- Inquisitive to understand why change is occurring.
Desired:
- Experience working with data platform tools such as Power BI, Tableau, Looker, and QuickBooks.
- Knowledge or experience of writing in SQL or use of Power Query through SSMS and Excel.
- Experience of working within similar sectors to our own, such as finance and customer service.

Remuneration:
- On Target Earnings of up to £36,800 per year, consisting of base salary and discretionary annual bonus
- A competitive base salary of £28,000 to £32,000 depending on experience
