We’re looking for an experienced Data Engineer to play a key role in a major Supply Planning transformation programme. You’ll help build the data foundations powering our new Infor Production Scheduling & Supply Planning platform, ensuring planners and analysts across the business have access to clean, reliable, and well-structured data for forecasting, planning, and analytics.
Working with project teams, planners, and analytics specialists, you’ll design and deliver the data pipelines, integrations, and models that support next-generation supply planning capabilities.
What you’ll be doing
- Build data pipelines
- Design and manage scalable ETL/ELT pipelines
- Integrate data from Infor ERP, FuturMaster Demand Planning, and other operational systems
- Automate ingestion and ensure reliable data availability
- Prepare and model data
- Cleanse and harmonise operational data (SKUs, product, location and resource master data)
- Design data models and time-series datasets for sales, forecasts, inventory, and promotions
- Optimise structures for fast planning and analytics performance
- Support forecasting and analytics
- Deliver model-ready datasets for statistical and ML forecasting
- Manage multiple forecast versions (baseline, promotional, consensus)
- Work closely with analytics and data science teams
- Ensure quality and reliability
- Implement data validation, monitoring, and pipeline logging
- Maintain full data lineage and traceability from source to output
- What we’re looking for
- 5+ years’ experience in Data Engineering
- Strong experience with cloud data platforms (Azure preferred, AWS/GCP considered)
- Hands-on experience with:
- Lakehouse architectures (Delta Lake, Snowflake or similar)
- ETL tools (dbt, Azure Data Factory, Airflow, Informatica, Talend)
- SQL, Python, Spark
- Streaming technologies (Kafka or Azure Event Hub)
- Experience integrating enterprise systems and APIs
- Familiarity with data quality frameworks (Great Expectations, dbt tests)
- Experience with Power BI or similar analytics platforms
- Understanding of DevOps / CI/CD for data environments
- Experience in FMCG, supply chain, or manufacturing is a plus.
