As we continue to expand, we are seeking a highly skilled IT Software Engineer with a versatile skill set to join our in-house development team. You will play a key role in building and enhancing the software that powers our legal and collections services.
With hundreds of thousands of accounts under management, we are constantly exploring and implementing emerging technologies to enhance our systems, automate processes, and to reduce the need for manual intervention.
IT Software Engineer Education & Experience (Required)
- Minimum of 3–5 years professional experience in the UK with a relevant degree (e.g., Computer Science, Software Engineering), or
- Minimum of 5 years in a similar software development role without a degree.
Preferred:
- Microsoft certifications (e.g., MCP, MCDBA, MCSD, AZ-900, AI-900, DP-900)
- CompTIA certifications

Ideal Candidate Profile
- Proven experience with C# and VB.NET development
- Strong knowledge of ASP.NET MVC, Blazor, and modern web application architecture
- Proficient in SQL Server, including complex queries and SSIS packages
- Experience building responsive UIs with Telerik
- Familiar with both .NET Framework 4.8.1 and .NET Core
- Skilled in WinForms/WPF as well as web technologies
- Experience creating and consuming RESTful APIs
- Ability to troubleshoot and debug across the full stack
- Interest or experience in artificial intelligence applications
- Self-motivated with a strong willingness to learn
- Willing to assist end users with occasional hardware/software support issues
Desirable Skills
- Experience in the legal, finance, or collections sectors
- Understanding of GDPR and data protection requirements
- Knowledge of PCI-DSS (Payment Card Industry Data Security Standard)
- Experience with Azure DevOps, CI/CD pipelines, or automated testing frameworks
