You will work across the full development lifecycle, collaborating with designers, developers, and stakeholders to create innovative digital solutions.

This is an excellent opportunity for a developer who enjoys working with a variety of technologies, solving complex problems, and contributing to impactful projects in a flexible remote environment.

Web Developer Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop, test, and deploy responsive websites and web applications using HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and modern frameworks such as React, Angular, or Vue.js.
  • Design and implement intuitive, user-friendly interfaces, ensuring excellent UI/UX across all devices.
  • Build and maintain server-side applications using technologies such as Node.js, Django, ASP.NET, Ruby on Rails, or Spring Framework.
  • Manage and optimise databases including MySQL, PostgreSQL, MongoDB, SQL Server, and SQLite.
  • Integrate third-party APIs and develop RESTful or GraphQL services to support application functionality.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams using version control systems such as Git and project management tools including Jira and Trello.
  • Automate deployment workflows and manage cloud-based infrastructure using AWS, Azure, Jenkins, Docker, or similar technologies.
  • Perform unit testing and contribute to code quality initiatives through best practices, code reviews, and modern development methodologies.
  • Maintain technical documentation and support continuous improvement of development processes.
  • Stay current with emerging technologies, web standards, DevOps practices, SEO principles, and performance optimisation techniques.

Requirements:

Proven experience developing modern web applications using HTML5, CSS3/SCSS, JavaScript, and TypeScript.
Strong knowledge of front-end frameworks such as React, Angular, Vue.js, or similar technologies.
Experience with back-end development using Node.js, Django, ASP.NET, Ruby on Rails, Spring Framework, or equivalent platforms.
Solid understanding of relational and NoSQL databases, including the ability to write and optimise complex queries.
Experience working with RESTful APIs, web services, and third-party integrations.
Familiarity with cloud platforms such as AWS or Azure and containerisation technologies including Docker.
Knowledge of DevOps practices, CI/CD pipelines, and deployment automation tools.
Proficiency with Git and collaborative development workflows.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with excellent attention to detail.
Ability to manage workload effectively and work independently in a remote environment.
A degree in Computer Science or a related discipline is desirable but not essential for candidates with relevant commercial experience.
