Laravel Software Developer – PHP, SaaS Platform (Hybrid, Reigate). Skilled Laravel Software Developer to join our team and support the continued growth of our Sync platform. This position is ideal for someone with expertise in PHP, Laravel, and SaaS applications, eager to contribute to a dynamic, multi-tenant software platform.

As a Laravel Software Developer, you will play a key role in developing new features, optimising existing workflows, and ensuring the stability and performance of our live production system. This is an exciting opportunity to work with a modern tech stack in a collaborative environment.

Key Responsibilities for a Laravel Software Developer:

• Develop and maintain the Sync SaaS platform using PHP and the Laravel framework.
• Enhance backend architecture by building robust features and optimising performance.
• Design and implement APIs for third-party integrations.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support frontend functionality, especially where it intersects with backend logic.
• Work with relational databases and structured data models to manage business-critical workflows.
• Assist in preparing the platform for future mobile app support.
• Ensure platform stability, performance, and scalability.
• Contribute to basic server and infrastructure tasks when required.

Essential Experience & Skills:

• Proven experience as a PHP developer (minimum 3 years).
• Strong knowledge of the Laravel framework (at least 2 years).
• Solid understanding of SQL and relational databases.
• JavaScript experience, particularly in backend-integrated frontend features.
• Familiarity with API development and third-party integrations.
• Comfortable working in a Linux environment and using the terminal.
• Experience working with live production systems and established codebases.

Beneficial Skills (Nice-to-Have):

• Mobile app development experience (React or similar).
• Familiarity with Livewire, Alpine.js, or similar frontend tooling.
• Experience with Tailwind CSS.
• Experience integrating Stripe or similar payment systems.
• Familiarity with Sage or other financial system integrations.
• Experience working on SaaS platforms.
• Exposure to construction or property technology domains.
• Basic server administration knowledge.
