Senior AI Engineer required to join our expanding development team during an exciting phase of technology transformation. This is a high-impact opportunity to help shape the way AI is designed, developed, and deployed across the organisation.

In this role, you’ll work at the intersection of machine learning, software engineering, and real-world business challenges, creating intelligent and scalable solutions that drive innovation and operational efficiency. Working closely with enterprise architecture and technical leadership teams, you’ll play a key role in promoting Responsible AI practices, ensuring all solutions are secure, scalable, and aligned with industry best practices.

What You’ll Be Doing:

• Design, develop, and deploy AI-driven solutions to automate processes and reduce manual effort
• Collaborate with Development, QA, and IT teams to deliver high-impact solutions
• Identify opportunities to apply AI across the business and translate them into measurable outcomes
• Build both rapid prototypes and production-ready applications
• Establish best practices and governance frameworks for Responsible AI
• Produce clear technical documentation aligned with engineering and audit standards
• Champion secure, scalable, and efficient AI implementation across the organisation

What We’re Looking For - Core Skills & Experience:

• Proven experience in AI Engineering, machine learning/LLM applications, or intelligent automation
• Strong Java engineering background with a focus on production-quality development
• Experience with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins or GitLab CI
• Hands-on experience with Docker and Kubernetes
• Experience with Infrastructure as Code, ideally Terraform
• Strong Linux and server administration skills
• Proficiency in Python, TypeScript, or Bash scripting
• Excellent problem-solving, communication, and stakeholder management skills
• Understanding of Responsible AI principles and best practices

Nice to Have:

• AWS cloud experience
• Experience with microservices or serverless architectures
• Familiarity with Node.js, Angular, and JVM environments
• Python experience for data processing or model evaluation
