AI/ML Engineer Job Role:
We are seeking an experienced AI/ML Engineer with 3–5 years of industry experience to join our growing engineering team. In this role, you will design, develop, and deploy machine learning models and AI-powered solutions that drive our SaaS platform.
You will collaborate closely with product managers, software engineers, and data specialists to transform complex business requirements into scalable, production-ready AI solutions.
Engineer Key Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and deploy machine learning models and AI algorithms using Python and modern ML frameworks such as TensorFlow, PyTorch, or Scikit-learn.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate AI/ML capabilities into our SaaS platform.
- Build robust data preprocessing pipelines, feature engineering workflows, and model optimisation processes.
- Evaluate, validate, and fine-tune machine learning models to maximise accuracy, reliability, and performance.
- Deploy models into production environments while ensuring scalability, resilience, and maintainability.
- Research and implement state-of-the-art AI techniques, including:
- Natural Language Processing (NLP)
- Time Series Forecasting
- Reinforcement Learning
- Agentic AI systems
- Design AI solutions that meet security, compliance, and cloud scalability requirements.
- Stay current with emerging AI technologies, machine learning research, and fintech innovations.
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence, Data Science, Mathematics, Software Engineering, or a related discipline.
- 3–5 years of professional experience developing AI/ML solutions, ideally within fintech or financial services.
- Strong programming skills in Python.
- Hands-on experience with TensorFlow, PyTorch, Scikit-learn, or similar machine learning frameworks.
- Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform.
- Familiarity with Docker, Kubernetes, and containerised deployment.
- Experience building data pipelines, ETL processes, and working with SQL and NoSQL databases.
- Understanding of SaaS architecture and developing secure, scalable cloud applications.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills within cross-functional teams.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience building agentic AI systems, autonomous workflows, or multi-agent architectures.
- Familiarity with OpenAI APIs, LangChain, LangGraph, or similar AI orchestration frameworks.
- Experience applying AI to financial compliance, portfolio management, or risk analytics.
- Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines, Git, and modern software development practices.
- Experience with LLM evaluation, prompt engineering, retrieval-augmented generation (RAG), or vector databases is an advantage.
